LaPiS 017 – Pica-Pica October 5, 2008
Posted by Leap of Faith! in Lasang Pinoy Sundays.trackback

Mushroom al Ajillo is one of my favorite pica-picas whenever we go to a Spanish restaurant. This dish was lovingly prepared by my wife for our lunch today when I told her that I needed an appetizer for this week’s LaPiS theme.
While I do not know how to cook, the preparation seemed very simple. Two cans of button mushroom is sauteed in EVOO, butter and lots and lots of garlic!!! I believe she added some spices as well, like salt, pepper, paprika and parsley. Oh, she added some celery too for the extra crunch.
So, what are you waiting for? Bring out those toothpicks and start making “tusok-tusok” those mushrooms. Chomp! chomp!
